My Baby is 1!

I cant believe that it has been over a year since Brelynn joined our family. She is such sweet girl, tough, but sweet. In her first year of life she has been through a lot. We had a lot of fun times and then there was the month she was in a cast after breaking her leg (she had been trying to crawl/walk over a step). So, here is a look back at Brelynn's first year. I love you baby girl.

Brelynn loves being outside, here she is hanging out with her posse in Old town; Trenton and Mary built her a "walking machine" since she couldnt get around be herself!!; Here she is having a banana for the first time.

We LOVE El Monte Park, here she is on her first ride down the slide with mommy; She liked it so much she tried to climb back up to go again!

She enjoys climbing in and out of Maizy's crate!She also likes to watching the rain hit the patio at grandma's house

This is the messiest teething cookie ever created; She didn't mind cause after the cookie she got to take a bath!; She likes to help around the house-"honey, thats for the hard floor in the kitchen, not for the carpet".

Brelynn was a ladybug for her first halloween, this is my FAVORITE face that she makes!; The rest of the gang on halloween;

Her first Christmas, and hopefully the last time she has a cast on; She just adored meeting Santa, can you tell!

Her favorite toy, for a long time, was her baby kitchen; Playing with Auntie Lizzy and Cousin Maddie; Brelynn showing Madeline how the toy works!

Don't look now, but I thing there is some kind of creature attacking Grandma!

She Walks

I am still working on getting a video but Brelynn is know a walker!!! She is unstoppable. When you do try to stop her she throws quite a fit! I will work on getting a video to post soon.

This is a couple weeks before she started to walk. Note her poor little limp from have her leg in a cast for a month.Ok well I cant get any of the walking videos to work but here is a pic

So, we Trenton and I were at Sea World last year with a Mom's Group that I am in. The little girl is the daughter of one of the other moms. Trenton LOVES meeting the characters at Sea World. This is O.P the otter. We love Sea World and go as often as possible, I love living in San Diego where there is infinite amounts of fun stuff to do around town.

Brelynn and Her Apples

Ok, you have to believe me when I tell you I feed my children! I mean look at those cheeks!! Poor little brelynn was spending her Christmas morning at Grandmama's house hoarding apples! She started out with two...

but that just wasn't enough, she soon got her apple arsenal up to 3...

Three just isn't enough apples to bunker down with for the winter, so Brelynn set out to find more...

Then the paranoia set in and she kept thinking that everyone was out to get her precious apples, she kept checking around to make sure no one put a hand on her bounty of fruit...

"I's gots me some apples, but you cant have none"

A very late HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have been "under the weather" for a very long time, so it has taken me a while to finally get stuff together for this post. For New Years Eve Trenton spent the night and Grandmama's House (My mom), Richard stayed home with Brelynn and rested, and I went over to Genevieve's mom's house for a bon fire (I LOVE fire), I stayed until about 11:30 because I wanted to make sure I was not on the roads while all the crazy partiers started driving home. So, basically, it was a mellow evening on fun. But I got a few pictures of Brelynn's first New Year's...

We call her exersaucer her little office, its where she gets all of her "baby work" done!

Trenton Kindergarten

Yes, Trenton is still around, poor guy isn't getting any of my "virtual world" attention so I will post a bit about him. He started school this year. Trenton is in Mrs. Bedrosian's class at Lakeview Elementary. He is too smart for his own good sometimes! He is having a blast making friends, learning to read and doing more art projects than you could ever imagine, I will post some pictures of his art soon. Trenton loves playing outside and building things. He is fasinated by magnets, he loves trying to figure out how they work and how much he can do with them.

Ready for the first day of school...but mom wasn't :-(..
